Time Stamp

Due to my upcoming obligations I must write to the future.

Time Stamp

This is not the first time that I am going to future time stamp my articles on DayMindXPression, but I have found out that there are many moments in my unpredictable life where I have a lot of time to write and not worry about working. The Thanksgiving break is one of such times, and I am going to utilize a good chunk of it to write several articles on free mind magazine and my serious personal editorial. Besides, I have a nice fireplace in front of me to keep me warm and entertained in a pre-Christmas atmosphere (We do our Christmas decorations pretty early).

There are many risks in prewriting articles and posting them in the future. One of them is the risk of having the topic of the article a little out of touch with the published time. If I write how the economy is doing well today and auto-publish the article two weeks later, then I run a risk of having a conflict between the content of the article and the current state of affairs at the time of having the article published. The situation could have been hit with several critical factors that could have forced a sudden change in the state of the economy that would have rendered my article irreverent. Future time stamped articles should have a broad topic that would be immune to certain situational change in our world.

But another problem of batch writing a bunch of articles and publishing them in the future is the quality of the articles themselves. In ordinarily circumstance it would drive me nuts if I have to write more than two long articles a day (A long article constitutes length between 400 – 500 words). I would have been psychologically tired after digging deep into one topic and doing it again for another topic. I would run a risk for having my articles becoming less magical, because I would have run out of motivation after continuously writing for several hours. Unfortunately there is no easy solution to avoid this problem, but writing a bunch of articles during time of leisure might be the best time to do so, because there is no everyday stress to worry about when one writes during a long weekend breaks. I do not generally worry about school work during school breaks, so I take advantage of the situation and try to have fun cranking creative articles for the future without getting too bummed up with stress.

I have several reasons for writing several articles for the future, and one of them is to not worry about updating my websites during the busy times in school. As the quarter (Our school does not use semester system) ends I have a lot of final exams to worry about, so I thought that it would be a good idea to stay away from free writing during the month of December. I have a lot of hours to burn during Thanksgiving break, so why not take advantage of these hours and be a little productive? There will be one article per week on DayMindXPression, and I plan to write two articles per month for View Focus. That’s going to be a lot of work for Thanksgiving break, but at least I can put off writing for the month of December.

I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Announcements

I do a lot of reading for school and for personal enjoyment. In the coming weeks, I will feature some of the books that I am currently reading as I concentrate on writing less "Internet-related" topics.
