My experience with Korean food so far has been awesome, but sometimes you love a restaurant so much that you might as well write and recommend it online. The restaurant name that I am featuring is called “About Shabu”, and I went to the one near the entrance of Kyhung Hee University. What’s shabu-shabu? It is a Japanese dish, which you put veggies and thin slice of meat into the broth and eat it. It is considered a healthy dish due to the generous serving of vegetables, and the separation of “bad” fat from the meat during cooking makes it even healthier. What is left after a couple of minutes of cooking (Which is done in front of you) is a flavorful cooked veggie-meat experience. After you are finished with the veggie and meat, you put in noodles on the broth to finish up the dish. Currently, the restaurant branch I went to is having a promotion. For about 10 dollars per person, you can order unlimited amounts of broth, vegetables, and meat. That’s a great deal, especially because the food quality is actually good! I recommend the place!
