I have mentioned various Korean noodle dishes in my previous writings, and they have become a good fraction of my daily diet. Then, I hear the news that some money-hungry company, which specializes in noodle distribution, used industrial ethanol (Instead of the consumption safe ethanol) on their noodles. According to authorities, these criminals, who deserve to be put behind bars for a long time, have been using dangerous substitutes on their noodle supply since April. The government is warning that some of the contaminated supply is still floating in the market, especially in restaurants, so the authorities suggest caution. I am sick to my stomach. The factory workers were not driven to kill citizens when they used the substitute ingredients, but the scope of the potential damage is widespread among the public. This story really gets into my nerves. No noodle dish for me (Like in the picture, which is Kimchi Chigae – my favorite non-noodle Korean dish)!
