It’s official. Seoul just hit 91 degrees today. It was darn hot outside, and I could have fainted if I had to stand in the middle of the heat for more than five minutes. The strange news is that southern Korea is actually experiencing some serious flooding problems. Couldn’t we just have a normal cool breeze?
But at least my lunch was great. This is Ja-jang noodle, which is a sautéed black paste noodle. This is favorite dish of mine, and I usually eat it at a weekly basis. Couple of month ago, friend of mine mentioned Black Day, which is a publicity stunt for lonely singles to express their single sadness by eating this dish.
Speaking of lonely singles, I found this sign posted everywhere at Korea University. For those who cannot read Korean, this is a school ran advertisement for a group-blind dating event.
