My grandmother, uncle, aunt, and two cousins visited me (and my dad) at Korea University. Although we wanted to give my grandmother a full tour of the beautiful campus, we were held back by the continuous and windy rain all afternoon. In fact, it was pouring so much that one second out in the rain would guarantee a fully soaked shirt. In any case, she was able to tour many parts of campus due to Korea University’s underground network of tunnel hallways that connect various buildings on main campus. It is especially useful for students during stormy weather, because one can travel from building to building without going outside. In any case, the family reunion was nice. But I want to get back into this rain situation, because it was severe enough to overflow many river banks and cannels in Seoul. Although the drainage system did an excellent work in moving water downstream, there were still lots of pools of water on the streets. You do not want to drive in such weather.
