Alright, this is kind of a rant. Coffee is expensive some parts of America, especially in Starbucks. However, you can get the largest cup in less than two dollars in most places (At least many months ago), and you can make it yourself at a much cheaper price! Well, I actually brought a coffee machine and ground coffee from the United States, because the commodity prices in Korea are ridiculous. The picture above is a normal hazelnut coffee that costs 4,500 won. It might cost about $4.00, which alone is quite expensive for a normal coffee, but to put in Korean perspective this rivals the cost of your average lunch at a restaurant (McDonalds in Korea is doing a Big Mac meal promotion for 3,000 won). Unless I am some type of emergency, I am not going to purchase this overpriced drink again. Besides, my coffee machine makes better coffee. I will admit though that the coffee house atmosphere was quite nice!
