I had a wonderful lunch with my uncle. The picture above is a freshly sliced noodle (Because you “slice” noodles from the dough) dish that is prepared for three people, and the bottom is the aftermath. It was a LOT of food!
In other news, this website will be expanding beyond the cyber world by sending out articles via postal mail to interested people. The first client will be my younger cousin, who is currently serving near the frontlines in the demilitarized zone. I figured that sending out regular articles from my writings might provide some light English reading material, which hopefully can help him in his English studies later on. Unfortunately, I will not be able to see him in person during this summer trip due to our conflicting schedules. I will also send some cookies and other snack foods for him to pass the time.
Oh wow! It’s already been a week since I started my summer life here!
